Considering a browlift or forehead lift in Michigan? Contact a female board certified female plastic surgeon.

A Brow lift is a surgical procedure to correct sagging or low eyebrows. It may be performed in conjunction with a facelift or additional facial procedure. Incisions are normally placed within the hair bearing scalp although patients that are bald may still benefit from this procedure. Brow lifts may be performed with or without an endoscope placed through small incisions in the hairline. The tissue and muscle is then repositioned or removed correcting the ptosis or sagging brows. The incisions are normally closed with removable sutures. The procedure typically takes about two hours depending upon other procedures that are done at the same time. The result is a more youthful, rested appearance. Mild discomfort can be addressed with oral pain medication given post operatively. The patient typically returns to work about ten days, although healing will contiue for several weeks.
